API-Integration Developer (CloudOps)
We are looking for a great Integration developer with deep understanding of event-based Function as a Service cloud architectures. Your primary focus will be on consuming 3rd party interfaces and exposing Pointerz data through well documented, secure, and highly performant APIs. These APIs will be robust and easy to maintain. You will also be a central resource for internal APIs and will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations with 3rd party apps.
- Building reusable integration components based on industry best practices integration patterns.
- Provide clear documentation of APIs created for external and internal use.
- Optimizing integrations for maximum performance.
- Develop interfaced utilizing different authentication protocols.
Skills
Required
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience with implementing 3rd party APIs.
- Proficiency with JavaScript
- Proficiency with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, Open ID connect, OAuth etc.
- Experience with defining and documenting APIs
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
- AWS development experience.
Preferred
- FaaS experience, e.g. AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions
- API Gateway experience, e.g. AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Google API Gateway/Apigee
- API documentation tools, e.g. OpenAPI/Swagger, ReDoc, RAML
- Experience as a full stack developer
- AWS certifications.
